Happy First day of Spring!!!
aaaaand happy friday
whats everyone up to this weekend?
ps - not sure how wide-spread these are, but if you have a Rita's italian ice near you, its free italian ice day to celebrate spring!
Re: Happy First day of Spring!!!
Happy Spring! I'm so glad its here. A friend and I already have plans to get our free Rita's this afternoon, and Trav & I will go after dinner tonight. :-)
This weekend we are driving up to New London for a wedding. One of the girls I lived with in college is getting married... it should be a lot of fun.Up on Saturday and back on Sunday.
And the stupid thing about it that Trav & I are both looking forward too? Sleeping in on Sunday! My brother is dogsitting while we are gone, and its so exciting that we can actually just sleep until we wake up... not until the pup needs to go out! :-)
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
Bloggity Blog - You know you want to...
woohoo! now, where my 70 degrees??!
busy weekend. Going to a hockey game tongiht, have a rugby game in DC tomorrow, and a baby shower sunday. and, um, need to write a paper.
that is sooo not stupid! i understand 100%.
We're getting our Rita's when A get home from coaching tonight then doing some grocery shopping. Tomorrow we're hosting our tastefully simple party (i decided to go w/ ultra casual bar-type apps including mini pizzas, potato skins, popcorn chicken, and soft pretzels...i figured it would go well with the dips and bread from the party and if people were too full to keep snacking, it'll all heat up well for A and I during the week). Sunday we really dont have anything planned, although I'm hoping after church we can go to the garden center - i need some help planning the landscaping for our front yard...it needs curb appeal asap.

I started Spring by staying home sick with a cold. But Grayson decided to one up me and threw up all over our bed at 8am. He's currently alternating between napping and crying. I need to tag clothes to sell at the consignment sale next weekend - but can't do it with him sleeping in here. Oh, well, I'll get it done.
Pending that Grayson is feeling better, tomorrow I am shopping and then volunteering at one of our multiples consignment sales. I have be on the road at 6am - to get there and get in line. YUCK. L will take the kids to Gymboree and when 'll get home, L will leave to go study for a few hours. We'll go have dinner and probably go get the kids new sneakers.
Sunday L will leave to go study and I'll take them to breakfast and grocery shopping. When they get up, we're taking them to a birthday party for one of L's co-workers kids. It is at a petting zoo/farm place so I think the kids will love it. I will try to talk L into trying a new restaurant on that side of town.
Our nanny was supposed to walk the kids over to Ritas this afternoon (there is one across the street from our neighborhood), but at this rate, she'll just be taking Carter and I'll give her money to bring one home for Gray for when he feels better. Poor monkey.
Our weekend is actually pretty relaxing, well maybe.
Tonight we are headed over to Julie's brothers house, for dinner and rockband. Yes, we play rockband, it's really really fun actually. After that we will hit up the midnight release of the Twilight DVD.
Tomorrow, I'm headed to Ikea for the free breakfast, kitchen supply sales, and some fun. That night we will be having the Twilight Movie party. Any ideas for 'vampire' snacks?
Sunday. I think we are going to head to church, and then we'll come home and finish up the second season of Six Feet Under. by the way if you haven't seen this show, SEE IT! It's soooo good, quirky but good. :-)
This afternoon our new mattress is being delivered and then we will have a frozen pizza for dinner. Sat we are going out to dinner (tapas I think) yum. Sunday I am going maternity shopping with my mom! That should be fun!
No rita's around us but I think ben and jerry's may do the same thing. I need to check on that then go for an ice cream if I can.
I made vampire cupcakes for halloween and they were a hit. its just a cupcake injected with a stawberry or raspberry filling then frosted to look like this (not my pic):
these with some blood red punch would make for a great movie-watching snack

CT- Those look and sound yummy! Fantastic. Thanks!
Happy Spring! Have you seen Google's homepage? It's cute.
No plans laid out for this weekend yet, but on Monday someone comes to our house to "install" a CPAP machine for Sylvia, so I know there is cleaning on our list! (I'd hate to have them move the bed and discover our warren full of dust bunnies!)
Oh, yeah, and the Christmas tree is still up. I am putting this on my list every Friday until I finally get it taken down, to shame myself into doing it.
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)
Peanut and Little Man are getting so big! 2 years old already!
finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
My friend is having a party next Friday and I suggested 'cold' items to go with Edwards stone cold body. Shrimp on ice...etc.
We are going shopping for seeds for our organic garden tonight. Tomorrow we have a class on visitation and then we are having drinks/apps with two other foster couples in waiting. I have been really down this week so I hope the socializing perks me up.
