ok, so the post below made me think. does anyone remember this show, called "Dolphin Cove" about a Dad and two kids....the daughter didn't talk....they were animal communicators?
Do you remember the show, I think it was called "out of this world" where the daughter was half alien and could freeze time by putting her index fingers together? her name was Evie.
