AW: My Cousin
My adorable 11-yr old cousin is the State of California All-Around Gymnastics Champion!! He also got 1st place in all but 2 of the events.
I'm bummed that he's not a little bit older, because the older kids have national championships up in Michigan and we'd totally go. His age group doesn't have a national meet.
The video my uncle sent is amazing. I can't wait to see him get older and more competitive than he already is -- DH and I have made a pact to go to the Olympics to see him if he ever makes the team
He thought DH was SO COOL, because he taught both Hamm brothers at OSU.

Julie-your DH did gymnastics or he had the Hamm brothers in an academic class?
I did gymanastics for 10+ yrs. and loved it! I love hearing about kids who are involved and enjoy it. States and Nationals are really fun meets

Emily -- He just taught them in class. But he did write a PT school recommendation letter for Morgan, so that says something, I guess
Fun piece of trivia, though -- DH's great-uncle was the gymnastics coach at OSU a long time ago.
