Race for the cure- actually have to run?
So DH signed us both up for race for the cure the other day through his work. Now we actually have to get in shape enough to jog 3 miles before then I found this great training program which technically takes 8 weeks but we can shorten it the extra week so we can fit in before then. It takes you from not running at all (describes DH and I perfectly) to running 3 miles (5K). Here's hoping it works, and that DH sticks with it because I don't know if I have enough motivation to motivate him as well at the same time, it'll be hard enough keeping myself motivated.

Best of luck!
I've walked it plenty of times, but if it's the pressure you need to train, then I'll tell you that you MUST run!
