Doggy Daycare/Boarding???

I am looking for recommendations for a doggy daycare/kennel for our lab when we go on vacation in July and January.  We are in Canal Winchester, so something nearby would be great.  If you have rates, that would be very helpful as well.

Have you checked with your vet?  I know my vet offers boarding but I don't remember the rates.

i don't have pets but know some folks that use Pet Palace and like it I think they have one right by the airport and one in Hilliard?

Stace - are you still going?  If so, they messed up the final payment due date on a lot of invoices.  It is October 21, not August 1 or September.  I just confirmed that yesterday because I added Chaya on Friday and got a new invoice.

We take *** to the Pet Palace for groomings. It is a really neat facility. There is one by the Airport and one in Hilliard.

We go to Canal Vet Clinic on Waterloo and although we have never used their boarding services, we really like the doctors and staff!!  They are so friendly and always take good care of our dog when we come in for our appts.  It might be worth it to check them out since they are so close

Hi (I pretty much lurk here but felt the need to respond)... I highly recommend Pawsitive Energy (www.pawsitiveenergy.com). I know it's a bit of a drive (Marysville) but it is much worth it- the dogs are mostly kept outside (or in an indoor barn area, heated when necessary) most of the day w/ multiple play areas, instead of being kept in kennels all day. $25/dog, $42/2dogs and they don't charge you extra for the play time or letting them out to potty. Lori Price and her staff are amazing! I call her cell to check on the dogs and if i have to leave a message, she calls back quickly with updates. I believe there's a pickup/dropoff spot in Hilliard by appointment. Hope that helps.

We used to go to Pawsitive Energy but found a new one we LOVE that's closer in German Village. It's Uncle Keith's Doggie Daycare. I believe it's $17 or $20 a day. I can't remember because we buy multiple passes. They treat our pup so kindly and he has a blast there. Google the name, they have a website.
