Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

In regards to your post below:
If you are dealing with multiple allergens at once (like smoke, pet dander, mold, etc.) just removing yourself from the situation isn't enough. By then your allergic reaction is already going to be triggered and the repercussions are going to set in. I have to take meds and even then my symptoms will still last the rest of the day. (Really tired, body aches, severe jaw pain, headaches.) A lot of times it will bring on migraines too.
If I know that I will be around stuff I'm allergic to (like my uncle smokes and I can smell it on him ~ ugh.) I will take meds in advance and that helps somewhat. Try rinsing out your nasal cavity (or use a damp q-tip inside your nostril) it helps remove some allergens that might be sitting there. Also, if I'm going to be around animals (petting them) or dust/mold of any kind I have to wear a mask. (A thick one used for painting.)
