Hey there! I was hoping you could help me out with a couple of technical things...back in the day (college) I was so good at this stuff, but now I'm old, you know...7 years later...and I can't quite figrure this out. I remember you posting stuff about this, so I thought I would ask you...hope you don't mind. 
How do you get started with the whole RSS feed thing? Do I need to download an agregator and, if so, is there one in particular that's better? Also, can you import other people's RSS feeds to get started?

I love google reader. All you have to do is create a google account and then you just copy and paste the link for the RRS feed in the suscribe box and it automatically comes up. This is great all of your RSS feeds in the same place and it also tells you how many are unread, you can "star" entries to book mark them as something you want to go back to etc.

ditto pp, i use google. i actually blogged about it, i have a list of other RSS feeders.

also, if you dont want to use one of those, IE7 has a feed built into it, up on the top left click on the star, and choose the middle button Feeds. on any website that you can RSS, just click on it and chose subscribe, and it will get listed on that drop down menu in your browser.
