American Idol...what did you think?

I missed the first part of the show so can someone tell me why they did another round of Beatles songs?  IMO, everyone pretty much butchered all the songs.  It was the most boring episode yet.  Boo!

I think I missed why they did Beatles songs again this week, too.

I thought it was pretty bad.  I think the only one that sounded half-way good was David Cook - but like Simon said, he was a bit too smug about it.

I felt so badly for Michael Johns after Paula had been going on and on about the monitors being in their ears, and it being hard to sing until you've adjusted to wearing them. Ryan wanted Michael to show him the monitor, and he admitted to not having them.

I missed last night, but last week after the results show, Ryan said something like "we received tons of calls and emails about the lennon/mccartney songbook so we've decided to do it again next week" or something like that.

Super boring episode last night! They did another week of Lennon/McCartney songs because apparently they got "overwhelming response" last week.

I am crossing my fingers Kristy Lee Cook gets the boot tonight. She was by far the worst of the night I thought and she is really boring.

I didn't watch, but I heard parts while listening to the radio this AM. WOW, some of those kids really sounded bad.  I didn't hear a single one that sounded good.
