Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Poll: How do you calm your nerves?

I am soo nervous this morning. I can't calm down.  I am so jittery.  I think I am going to go to the gym that seems to relax me a bit.

  • When I'm at work, I have to go out to my car for a few minutes.  At home, I go to the gym.

  • I sleep.  It's about the only thing that truly works for me.
  • sleep is the best for me too.. i just shut off my brain

     

  • take a walk, close my eyes and breathe deeply 10 times, heat up an aromatherapy bag and place it on my neck or shoulders, free write about whats bothering me, go into a huddle room and do stretches, if its really bad i'll take a Xanax or go into a private room and put my head down for a few minutes.

  • Work.
    If I can't sleep (which is often), I go upstairs to my office and get work done. I can focus on that instead of the various nightmares I have or how uncomfortable I am now.
    At least I can feel in control of something!
