Hey woman! ASwank's post below about landscaping got me thinking, and I wanted to get your opinion on something as well. DH and I are going to finish our basement and we are disagreeing about it - he wants to go big open room (with the exception of a full bath), and I want to go extra bedroom, full bath, the rest of it big open room. Our house is only 3 bed but does have a den & loft - I just think a 4th potential bedroom would help with resale. Thoughts? TIA!

As long as your not limiting the size of the "big" room I would say add the bedroom, it can't hurt, but if it is going to severly limit the size of the "rec" room I would say stick with the big space and the bathroom. Most people aren't too interested in a bedroom in the basement, but a lot of people want an extra living space or play area for their kids.
