PSA: Restaurant.com AND need opinion

Restaurant.com is running a 40% off promotion (you can get $25 gift certificates for $6).  FYI, you won't see the 40% reflected until checkout.  Anyway, I am not too familiar with c-bus restaurants. I definitely say it's worth it for Tratorria Rome!  I think I may go buy one now

It says on Trattoria Roma that it's with a minimum purchase of $50....so can you get two $25 GCs and use for a $50 order or is it just one $25 GC per $50 order?  (never eaten there, but we're always looking for new places....)

I've actually never seen anything on there that I wanted to buy.  Although if Steph is recommending Trattoria Roma, I might give it a shot sometime

I didn't see the 40% off in the checkout.  However, you can get 50% off (making each $25 GC $5 apiece) with the code LUCK.

You can only use one per visit. We usually hold off till it gets to 50 or 60% for a g.c. Be sure to read any/all restrictions. It is a nice way to try new places. There used to be some better ones, but I think business probably picked up and they aren't on there anymore.

I bet they would only let you use one GC - but it wouldn't hurt to call and ask   We went there for my birthday this past year and had an awesome experience and a super server.  I'm hoping we can go back sometime soon once the weather breaks and we can have dinner outside  

I've heard of some of the other restaurants, but I've only been to Trat. Roma

When you put the GC's in your cart and go to checkout, there is a line called "discount applied" before the total.  But, your 50% off code is better anyway!

And like pp said, you can only use 1 per visit.

I'll recommend Buona Pasta.  It is in the Marble Cliff / Grandview area.  DH & I went because of a cert. I bought on restaurant.com.  Unfortunately, we were the only people there, but the food was GREAT and cheap.  It is owned by a family, and they were so nice, we bought dessert just to spend extra money there.  I have a feeling it won't last long, because it's in a weird location, but I think it's a great place!

EJ's Canyon Cafe is pretty good and so is Jimmy V's. Old Bag is a fun place and O'Shaugnessy's, but I heard from a little birdy that O'Shaghnessy's in the arena district is going out of buisness...so is Gordon Biersch

the Trat is good, Old Bag of Nails is really good too, as are Red Door Tavern & Jimmy V's, O'Shaugnessy's is okay.

I"ve been to Old Bag of Nails/Rusty Bucket, and Red Door Tavern.  They are all great places with a pub type theme.
