We have a suffering vacuum and a "iffy at best" carpet cleaner. Both do the job, but not great at getting out crap/stains as much as they used to.
Would replacing both with a Dyson be of any use, or do we want a fancier thing that does more about stains? Having pets and a baby on the way (and a DH who spilled his coffee all over the laundry room), I really want something that will pick up liquid stuff, too.
Also, about 1/3 of our house has hardwood floors. Can you use a Dyson on hardwood to pick up fur?
Re: Dyson question
As for stains, we just do the best we can with stain sprays and stuff. Our carpet is pretty crappy, so we are just waiting until we can replace it with hardwood.
