I don't check this board often enough so I missed the post below asking about the Share program. For those of you who don't know, it's a food co-op where you can buy groceries for normally at least 30% off if not more. You can order online at Sharewi.org and pay with a credit, debit or quest card. You can also mail in a check. Every month they offer a package deal and you can either buy the whole package or just individual items. Normally there is an assortment of things like pork chops, chicken, pork tenderloins, assorted produce, pasta, rice and maybe something like apple sauce cups. You order at the beginning of the month and then pick up your order the last Saturday of the month at whatever pick-up location is closest to you.
My husband and I have been doing this for about a year now and overall the quality of the food is pretty good. Sure, it's not filet mignons but it's still good. At first we were worried that we made too much money to participate but it really is for anyone no matter what your income and we felt better when we were picking up our food and a woman in a Cadillac Escalade pulled up.
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then success with condoms! Who would ever have guessed.
