Where are the plows???

They still haven't made their way down our street!  I was stuck in the street for 15 minutes this AM.  Thank goodness DH went into work late, so he was still home and able to shovel me out!  ::sigh::

If I remember correctly, last year when we had that big blizzard they never plowed the side streets.

Honestly, I am not sure a plow would help on my street at this point, The surface is so packed down, really a sheet of ice... a salt truck might help.

But really, the pp is more helpful. lol

They have not made it down our street either!  I am really surprised b/c there are two schools on my street. 

I was also stuck this morning on my street for about 10 minutes b/c a van was stuck in the snow in the intersection.

They didn't plow our street last year, and they haven't done it now.  On the news this morning, it was reported that they had gotten to 85% of the streets.  I call BS!

Nah, I'm sure they won't ever go down our street.  My parents haven't ever had their street plowed in the 20+ years they've lived there.

They've plowed our street 3 times now!  And the entire street is just 2 cul-de-sacs- so it doesn't go anywhere.  I guess that's my tax money hard at work!  I would call the city.

I would bet my next paycheck that they're done.  There are major roads out there (like Morse) that have lanes that just disappear because the plows didn't clear them.  That's inexcusable at this point in the game.  It stopped snowing 3 days ago now, no reason for main roads to still be snow covered. 

I'm sorry for those of you that live on streets that will never see a plow.  Must be a royal pain.  Luckily this should all melt in the next few days.

They never plow our street. We finally got them to do it last year after making several increasingly b!tchy phone calls. I was stuck in my house and couldn't get to work long after everyone else in the world was back to normal. Our street's not too bad this time, a lot has already melted.

Yep, no plowing going on here yet either. And now we have about a foot of slush with just ice under it. Lovely...
