I have my annual review in 45 minutes. I am always scared that they are going to tell me that I am doing a terrible job and demote me! Very silly, but it still wiggs me out every time
Re: i'm nervous!
I never know how I'm doing in their opinion so I always half expect them to jump out of a corner and be like "you are doing horrible, you are fired" Doesn't help that we've had some lay offs recently either.
don't worry emily!
they won't tell you your doing a terrible job!
Honestly though per "nw policy" if they do have such a problem with you your annual review is NOT where you are supposed to hear about it for the first time... it should be something you have been hearring all along!
anyway by now your *fun* should be over!
i got to the thread too late!
Hope it went well
They are never fun Emily... and I agree... never turn out as well as one would hope, especially when theres $$$ invovled...
i do know however sometimes it doesn't pay to be pushy when it comes to the dollar stuff, there is a girl that left my old dept, thought she was being smart when she was aggressive about "negotiating" her salary and without knowing it ended up settling for a sum less then she would have gotten if she hadn't decided to be the "negotiater" serves her right though, she always was a little too pushy IMO
