We are all so fortunate

So I heard on the radio that food banks in the area are critically low on food.  This really reminded me about how fortunate we are, and how I really could be giving back more than I am.  When I go home today I am going to go through my pantry for perhaps some canned goods and non-perishable items that will benefit someone more than they are me right now.  I would like to challenge everyone else to do the same, we really are so fortunate.  I know some of you are very very busy so I wouldn't even mind collecting from several people and running it all down at once, we could find somewhere convenient to collect it. Just let me know!

The mid ohio food bank, takes donations at their facility trhough the week. I will be more than willing to gather stuff up. I'll be at the book club.

I'm in.  Will have to go buy stuff since we just cleaned out the cupboards (my non-perishables had expired in 2006!!!), but I'd love to do it.  Please let us know where you're going to donate.

We should do a GTG or a Happy Hour and have everyone bring their canned goods/non-perishables.  That would be fun and still very helpful for others

Ok, I'll take care of going through my cupbard and planning it.  It might be short notice because I would perhaps like to try to get it to the food bank before Easter.  So how would perhaps Monday be for the people interested in a GTG for the food bank?  We could have a little St. Patty's action and do a little good at the same time.
