Scared the bikini waxer--possible TMI
I should probably start by saying that I'm 36 weeks pregnant. I realized the other day I hadn't seen my bikini area in months, and so it was probably time for some maintenance. So, off I go to Penzone's, meet the waxing lady, etc. When it came time to wax, she actually TOOK A STEP BACK and said "Oh my, honey. This is going to take AWHILE. I need to get some scissors!" I was torn between wanting to die and wanting to laugh hysterically!

Hehehehe - too funny! I'm 17wks pregnant so I can still do my own "maintenance", but it just occurred to me the other day that there will come a time pretty soon when I won't be able to handle that myself! At least you had a really good excuse for the situation!

I swear it does grow pretty fast down there, especially when it's harder to get to!

It wasn't my first time, but I hadn't gotten it done since I found out I was pg. Honestly, it's really not bad. I waxed my armpits before my wedding and that was way, way worse. If it's your first time, I recommend not showering afterwards (the water will really sting) and know it may be a little sore and red for an hour or so. I recommend Joy at Penzone's--she was really nice and knew what she was doing!
Here's a funny story: My friend Misty went to get her brows/bikini waxed at the same time. The lady had her take her pants off--and then waxed her eyebrows first! She never went back there!
I just had a brazillian at Penzones in Gahanna and it was $64.
