Here are a couple other 'tips'..
1...Target takes 2 coupons PER item...1 Target coupon and 1 manufacture. Target coupons are found either at the kiosk where you print regs OR online at Target.com just look at the bottom under 'SuperTarget' Coupons ...make sure to check all the 'house brands..Archer Farms and Market pantry as they have additional coupons.
2. Most Target's will take their own coupons EVER if expired! Not manu coupons, but their own. There is a website called slickdeals.net then look under the search and find the Target link. In the first post there are generators where you can print multiples of the T coupons...inc the expired ones. The expired ones w/1 barcode will prob. not work, but if it has 2 bar codes, it should work. Early 07 and prior still work.
Target's policy on their coupons is that if it scans, they take it! You can save a TON of money one it! Currently there are 2 coupons that can really pay off.
1 is the $3 off $15 on party ware..however rumor is that it will work on ANY $15 purchase..with or w/out the partyware. It depends on the clerk. Same with the $5/$25 toy coupon....should work on ANY $25 sale. I've been making sure to get at least some party (think paper plates) and 1 toy (using coupons for the shelter Christmas project).
Some T's have a 'family size' limit. Sawmill will only let you use 3 coupons on any 1 item... ie: you buy 10 packs of diapers..they will only allow 3 coupons..however other Targets will allow you 1 coupon PER PACKAGE AND if you have a manu and a T coupon...will allow all 10!
Check the top corner of a clearence tag. They have the amt of the discount...5/15/30/50/75 etc.
Not all stores go by the schedule. Some will do it every other week, every 3 wks etc..others will do it weekly etc. SOME even mark down during the week.... all depends on inventory!
I'm sorry to 'jump in', but my dh calls me a Targetaholic! I'm still looking for the 12step program!
However last nt my orig bill was $190 and I pd $17! I could return $32 of items that the coupons did not work..but I'm not going to!
