road report?

did anyone manage to venture out today?

Harry is afraid that the group that's to bring lunches tomorrow to the shelter will not make it...then he's afraid the Monday group will have the same problem.

If that happens, we have to make 150-200 sack lunches tomorrow and I'm not really looking forward to that...but will do what has to be done.  I've already printed 10 Target coupons for bread, found 5 Jif coupons, I have chip coupons and they have the drinks covered.   I'm just hoping that groups can get out.

The group tomorrow is coming from Upper Arlington...anyone in that area?

How are the roads???  I know cars here were moving...slowly, but moving.

You're all the BEST!

Beth

Re: road report?

  • I'm up in Dublin and we have about 15+ inches and we've been out all day. We have an SUV and did just fine. The roads are plowed, but snow covered and easy to drive on if you have 4 wheel drive. Plus there aren't a lot of people out, so it was pretty easy to get around...good luck!

  • We just got back home from a night out...went to arlington cafe to meet my parents and have some drinks. We are in Upper Arlington and the roads weren't as bad as I had thought they would be, but we were in DH's cherokee.
  • I just drove 270 from Sawmill to Alum Creek the roads are ALOT better for the most part. The highway is still covered. It should have been a half hour drive at most, but took over an hour.
