Great Resources for Antiques?
Anyone know of good antique fairs, etc. in the C-Bus area (presumably after winter)? I grew up in TX, and we used to go to antique shows where different vendors brought their treasures. DH and I will hopefully move into our forever home this summer, and I would like to find some beautiful items to furnish it.
Re: Great Resources for Antiques?
There are quite a few antique stores in downtown Powell, and a few in German Village. There may be some in the Short North area, but I'm not sure about that. GL!
Sunbury has a bunch of shops. There is the Don Scott show a few times a year (next wkd I think) that's usually pretty good. Springfield has 2 HUGE places just off 70 and in May is their Extravaganza which is at the fairgrounds and it's HUGE!!! I think it's 3 days and from what I remember...might just take that long!
Powell does have a few shops, but not as many as they used to.
Down on South High st...just before Greenlawn there is an old house that depending on what you're looking for...it's a great place to just look! Make sure to go to all the levels inc the attic in the front and the 'old ball rm' in the back, the basement and all inbetween.
Don't forget the Garage sale's in German Village in May. I've found great stuff there for cheap!
I recommend going to Waynesville, OH. Its about an hour and a half drive, but its a really neat little town with tons of antique shops
