Growth Hormone Bill in the Senate

Hey everyone! I am asking for all of your support today. The Senate is trying to pass a bill that will make human growth hormone a schedule III controlled substance, due to the recent stories of athletes and celebrities abusing it. This would make it difficult to impossible to receive by prescription, even for legitimate needs. Chloe is currently on hGH and if the bill passes as it is, her doctor may not be able to prescribe it to her because of all the restrictions.

The MAGIC Foundation, which supports families with growth disorders, has posted a petition that will be sent to Congress asking them to, at the very least, re-word the bill to protect children that need hGH for growth hormone deficiency and other disorders. I'm asking all of you to sign the petition if you get a chance today. Also, please feel free to send the link on to your friends and families, as we need all the support we can get.

Thank you so much!

p.s.  If the link doesn't work, you can go to www.magicfoundation.org, and click on the red sentence on the right hand side of the screen.  Thanks!!
