what about a storm coming?

My mom was rambling yesterday about 24" of snow, or something like that coming to C-bus, anyone have a clue what she is talking about??

Re: what about a storm coming?

  • Umm, I heard 4-6" is possible Friday/Saturday, but haven't heard 24"!  Gotta love moms!  LOL!
  • I've heard everything from up to 8 inches to nothing but rain.  The storm is coming from Texas and apparently it all depends on the track that the storm takes once it gets closer.
  • What?!?!?  I'm really tired of the snow.  I just don't feel like dealing with it.
  • I will believe it when it gets here. Snow is no good, maybe if I could get a snow day here or there. But no I live 8 minutes from work so I have no excuse. It's like super warm outside right now, I almost want to take all three dogs on a walk.....
  • Maybe she heard 2-4"  :)

At any rate, I would like 0, ZERO, NO snow!!!

  • My aunt just called me and told me 16"! I doubt we even get hit with 5" but im watching the news right now, so we'll see. I hope it's nothing.
  • I'm on the verge of tears over this.  My baby shower is saturday and it can't be rescheduled.

  • I am doing a "no snow" Indian ritual dance

*ay ay ay ay   ay ay ay ay*

  • I'm a firm believer that the weathermen in this town are delusional when it comes to snow.  I think they want it so bad that they just pull out random numbers.

I want a job where I can be wrong all the time and still be employed :).

  • They're now saying 8-14 inches for the Columbus area.  It's supposed to start sometime around noon today, stop sometime this afternoon, then start again during the overnight.  They say that we don't typically get double-digit inches of snow in a 24 hour period, so the weatherman on 10TV thinks it'll be closer to 8 inches.

Julie, I'll do a "no snow" dance for you!!!!

  • oh Julie I hope everyone makes it!!
