My husband and his siblings are planning their parents 50th anniversary party there in San Antonio. right now, we are looking at the Canyon Springs Golf Club.
anyone have any reviews of the Canyon Springs GC?
and can you recommend your baker for a cake? pricing per slice?
any rather inexpensive but good photographers or up and coming photogs trying to build their portfolio?

We went to a big retirement party at CS- it was nice... no complaints at all. It is sorta on the casual side... lots of stone on the inside. (I don't know if this is a formal party or what...) Everyone had a good time. My H also just played in a big golf tourney there and they did a big lunch afterwards... again, no complaints. ?I don't think the food is the best ever, but it's not bad!
I don't have a cake or photographer rec, sorry!?

I used Seventh Heaven Cakes for my wedding, and she was great. ?Our three tiered fondant cake was around $350 back in 2007 with delivery and everything, and tasted really great!
Do not use La-Vie photography--they did my wedding and I was sooooo?disappointed. (my profile pic if from a re-do session)?
