A thank you if you voted for MRDD

I meant to post yesterday, but thank you if you voted for the MRDD levy. As a momma whose children get wonderful services through MRDD, I wanted you to know that your tax money helps many people, even someone you know...me/the boys!

I second that Thank You!  I didn't get to vote yesterday (long story), but I am so glad that others voted for the levy.  The services Chloe has received from MRDD have helped her in so many ways.  Now you know at least two people you have helped!

If children are involved I always vote yes! Because they ultimately are the ones who suffer if we don't!

Meghan - do they do the Help Me Grow stuff?  We are on a wait list to have help me grow come and evaluate the twins.  I can't wait for them to come!

I thank everyone who voted at another end. As a special education teacher I see the children who have recieved MRDD services, and it makes such a big difference.  You are really helping this children have a much more sucessful school experience.

aleeandbry - Chloe is on Help Me Grow, and they are fantastic!  Our caseworkers (we've had two) have coordinated services like BCMH and Early Intervention, and without them I think I would have went insane a long time ago!  Good luck and I hope they see you soon!

I never say no to a school levy or MRDD.  Those are 2 things I feel can always use more money!

Yep, help me grow. We were automatically referred from the NICU b/c of gestational age and birth weights. We currently do in home services from an OT, PT and EI teacher. Next year the boys might go to the MRDD school.
