Full-Time Jobs?

I have a friend who lost her job today at the Sears call center, because they closed.  She doesn't have much experience because she is young, but is looking for a full-time job.  She is too shy to waitress, any other ideas?

Re: Full-Time Jobs?

  • Has she looked at other call centers?  Such as Alliance Data, Chase, etc.?
  • Deliah's (sp?) has a call center in Columbus too.  I know several people (some on here?) that dispatch service workers for companies.
  • Its not very much fun but she could work at the Distribution Center for Abercrombie. They always need people and they have more than one shift. Something she could do until she found something she liked better. I think  they pay like $10 hr. Well that was in 2005.
  • What about the Victoria's Secret/Gap/Limited/Express call centers?
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • She could also look into the Discover (as in the credit card) call center.  I think they're in New Albany.
  • Verizon also has a call center.  I hear they pay pretty well as far as call centers go... I heard around $13+/hr.
