So what's everyone doing this weekend?
Tonight H & I are getting together with my SIL just to hang out at our apartment.
Tomorrow is H's grandfather's b-day so we're getting together with his family to have cake in the afternoon.
Tomorrow night I'm getting together with my friends for a "Twilight party". We're going to eat snacks and watch the movie. Should be very fun! : ) I even made Twilight cupcakes today for the party.
Sunday I'm not so sure. I'll probably just relax.
Re: Weekend Stuff
Erik's back on duty - so I'll be catching up on the million things I've started. Planning my sister's bridal shower is on top of the list. My sis and mom are coming over tomorrow after my nail appt. to pick out paper for her wedding invites. How luck is she that I'm a party planner?? haha. I think I'll bake black & white cookies on Sunday.
Enjoy!!
Have fun with the planning! When is your sister's wedding? I can't wait for my sister to get married because she already said I could help her plan. I think it would be fun to help with the shower and all that. Of course, she has no intention of getting married in the near future so it's probably going to be awhile. : )
Those cookies sound so good. Enjoy baking! It's one of my favorite things to do.
Last night, DH and I ended up hanging out with my FIL and BIL. Today, we've just been bumming around our apartment but I want to get a little shopping in before we head to the hospital to visit my MIL (she just had a mastectomy to get rid of breast cancer and a reconstruction on Thurs) and then have dinner with everyone back at my SIL's. Tomorrow will just be going to Church and I really want to watch the Twilight movie! That's on my list of items to buy today!
I've never really gotten into baking too, too much but lately I've just had this desire to make a cake...Does any of you ladies have a good chocolate cake recipe?
Kim, I hope your MIL is doing well and has a speedy recovery.
The Twilight movie is on sale at Target for 17.99 and it's a 3 disc special edition. I bought it yesterday.
I love those "I'm moving" coupons! I'm still getting them 8 months later which is fine by me. : )
Glad you got your grill. I used my grill yesterday too. Made some hot & spicy chicken. It was so good but those ribeyes and porterhouses sound awesome.
