Sympathy Basket recs.

I am looking to send a sympathy basket to a friend.  I usually use Harry and David but their shipping prices have gotten a bit out of control for me.  Anyone use other companies?  I am looking for some fruit/candy/cookies etc.  Nothing specific.  TIA

Re: Sympathy Basket recs.

  • I don't know about using this for a sympathy gift...I got an Edible Arrangement for my birthday 2 months ago. The fruit was delivered very fresh and it was beautiful! I t was my birthday, and I was already happy, but one of these should make anyone smile on any day. www.ediblearrangements.com
  • I second the Edible Arrangement idea.  It's a little different, but everybody I've sent one too has loved having it.
  • There's great local gift basket company (based online and with a store front in Delaware) called Baskets Unique - they do great custom baskets, and I think are well priced. Check out their web site, or give them a call for more info - www.basketsunique.biz
