XP: Help me decide on Bedding!
I posted this on the C-bus babies board, but there are a lot more people over here!
TIA!
I am soooo in-decisive!
Sorry, I have to LIP, I don't know how to PIP!
Bedding Option #1 is Penelope from PBK. I like that it's made already, is the colors I want, and has lots of potential with accessories (bird theme sort of). PBK has really cute things that match it. Downside- it seems un-original to me I guess.

.com/room/rom/romnur/romnurpen/index.cfmR>Bedding Option #2 Don't look at the price- I would never spend that much on crib bedding! I would make this one. I made my DS's bedding, so I know I can do it. But I had a lot more freetime last time! This was the bedding I was going to make if DS was a girl, and I still love it. I've found all the fabrics to duplicate it. Downsides- I have to make it (we are already remodeling both DS's room and nursery so my nights and weekends are busy as it is), and there aren't many acessories (no "theme") to match...

t_detail.aspHELP!
What to do, what to do! I'm supposed to go with my mom Saturday morning to buy the fabric to make #2...
Re: XP: Help me decide on Bedding!
Personally, I would kill my mother if she made my nursery a bird theme, but as far as that goes, I'm hard to please, too. LOL!!!!
I absolutely love the 2nd one.
Is there any way you could buy the fabric and then have someone else put the time into making it for you, instead of you doing it? just a suggestion that I'm sure you have already thought of.
I adore the birdie bedding! I know what you mean about not having as much time with the second. That being said, get your rest and buy the birdie bedding.
You could just do the rest of the room in colors from the bedding or complimentary colors. I'm not a mom and not sure if I ever will be, but I'm not sure what the point of a room "theme" is for a baby. I'm not judging or being snarky...I just don't get it Oh, and I totally agree with Kelli as well with her first statement
I am no help. One is super convenient delivered to your door and the other is very time consuming. I worked on several projects while expecting Brody and running after Abbie so I know your hestitancy.
I got bedding from PBK...when I saw that bird bedding (I think it just came out) I almost changed my mind! I think the birds are just too cute. I love that the colors are brighter. I'm not typically a "cutesy" bedding person or even like birds, but I think that set is so adorable.
I also like that you can get separates from PBK - a lot of places online, you had to buy the set. Yes, it's expensive, but cheaper than buying a set of stuff you won't use. I just got a bumper and a dust ruffle (different set) and when I got the dust ruffle on the crib, I hated it. It was too short for my crib and with the mattress raised, you couldn't see it. Now I see no reason to pay that kind of money for something you can't see. I took it back and made my own dust ruffle with Joann's fabric and with their 40% off coupons, I made it for less than 10 bucks! So you could still get a few pieces from PBK and make some of the other stuff...
