Kitchen Countertops

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of places we could go to get quotes on new countertops.  We are thinking about replacing all of our countertops in our kitchen.  I am thinking that we would like to go with a formica.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Kitchen Countertops

  • I'm interested too.  We want Quartz/Silestone.  Let me know what you find out.
  • What type of material are you looking for?

  • We are looking to get Formica or Laminate.  We aren't going to be in our house for that long but we want something that will look better than what we have.  I think granite would just not be worth the investment for us.

  • If your countertops are a standard size, Lowe's (not sure about HD) has pre-cut laminate countertops in a several colors.  We went this route, and DH installed them himself.  The materials cost under $200 for the entire kitchen!  A great, cheap way to make a quick update!  HTH!
