Is Spa Bar gone?

Does anyone know if Spa Bar is gone? I tried the phone number listed on Google and their web page (www.spabarbeauty.com) but all of it's disconnected :-(

I have no idea.  I drove by at the beginning of January, I think, and it was gone.  Everytime I went the place was empty.  Once I walked in to see if I could get my eyebrows waxed, no customers and about 3-4 workers, and they couldn't do it.  Had to make an appointment and come back 2 hours later.  Seriously?

Geesh, treatment like that explains why people might have stopped coming in!

Luckily there's a ton of Avedas and other places around to still go to :-)

Obviously I don't live in Columbus anymore, but I also heard that 4 Kegs closed....maybe something is going to happen to that little strip area on the corner where Spa Bar and 4 Kegs are???

Angela, I heard that 4 Kegs closed and I was on their email list and haven't gotten any emails from them in awhile...maybe my info is bad, but if you go by, definitely let me know if I heard wrong.

Not that I will go there when I go back to Columbus to visit, but it's where Chris and I met so it holds a special place in my heart

Melissa - I loved that place while I was in college.  If its warm enough this week I'll escape my office and walk over and see whats going on.

The last time I was there (over a year ago) the original owners had just sold it to a couple who really changed things around.  They upped the prices and the service kinda went to pot.  I used to go there when I was in college too.

4 kegs is closed temporarilly.  From what I heard, they are closing to remodel and will have new owners.  Also, for those of you who may remember him, I heard that Jerome will not be back.  crazy!

Thanks Emily for the update on 4 Kegs! I totally know who Jerome is...a friend of mine used to work there as a barback/bartender and for the past year or so, one of my sorority sisters had been working there as a bartender.

wonder if it'll still be called 4 Kegs!
