Heya!

Here's the recipe for the bars that I brought on Saturday night! BTW, it was really nice meeting you and Tom! We had a really good time!

Grease a 13X9 glass pan

Line it with whole sheets of graham crackers and then break up a
graham cracker to fill in the space at the end. It usually takes about
7 crackers.

Sprinkle mini-marshmallows in one layer over the top.

Either microwave or heat in the oven until the marshamllows are puffy.

Take the pan out and let it cool completely.

In a microwave safe mixing bowl, combine 1 bag of chocolate morsels,
2/3 cup of light corn syrup, and 3 tablespoons of margarine. Microwave
on high about 1.5 minutes or until the chocolate can be stirred
smooth. Stir in 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter. Add 3 cups of Rice
Krispies, mixing until evenly combined.

Spread evenly over the cooled marshmallows.

Cover and refrigerate at least one hour. Keep stored in fridge.

They're ususlly only good for 2 days or so and then they start to dry out! So eat 'em quick!

  • You read my mind didn't you?  I just got on here to let you know that I wanted that recipe!  Good minds think alike I guess!!!  It was so nice meeting all of you girls (and guys!) on Saturday as well!  We hope that we can join you more often! :)  How did Sunday go?  Tom thought it was the greatest thing that tee shirts were made for it! HA!
  • You know, I woke up craving those damn bars!! haha So that reminded me to post the recipe!

Yesterday ("Chuckapalooza") went REALLY well! Had a blast! And got a t-shirt! LOL!

  • Do you guys know that I have yet to try these bars???  However, my husband was raving about them again yesterday so I'm thinking that I'll have to make them at some point :)
  • That's just plain ridiculous, Steph! They're the best thing since sliced bread! LOL

Colleen, I'm glad I finally got to meet you! I can't wait to hear stories of Tahiti :) hehe

  • Steph... you definitely have to try them, although you might kick yourself afterward!  I'm craving them now too! :)  Chuckapalooza!  LOVE IT!  Liz, it was great meeting you and Brandon too!  I just wrote Steph an email saying that I'd love to get together again with all of you!  We had so much fun!
  • eek! Colleen! I tried to hit reply and I accidentally hit REPORT! So I'm sorry if that did anything!

What I was TRYING to post is that one of Chuck's friend's wives brought bars similar to mine, but with a twist! Hers are a layer of brownie on the bottom, white frosting, and then the chocolate/pb/rice krispies mix on top! Very yummy, and so coincidental that she brought them! People couldn't decide between hers and mine! LOL!
