Hey Kelly, sorry it's taken me so long to reply back to you! I have not seen Bonnie in a long time, she is such a wonderful lady! I miss her and should send her an email. Speaking of people from the House, did you know John Campbell had a little baby over the summer? It's so funny to see him as a Dad!

Andy & I are good. He said to tell you hello! He started a new job a few weeks ago, still doing computers but working for Vorys (they're a law firm downtown). He likes it & the benefits and pay are great, but is working a lot. I'm subbing and trying to finish four online classes so I can apply for my teaching license and get a real job. Where are you working now? You're not at the AG anymore, right?

Hope all is well with all of you!!

  • Hi! It's so good to hear from you. I'm glad to hear all is going well for you guys. Good for Andy and his new job. I've heard nothing but good things about Vory's. I'm familiar with them....I should say I'm familiar with their Govt' Relations work. Good luck with the rest of your classes. You'll be done and teaching before you know it. My MIL has been in Columbus Public for 20-some years. She loves it.

I'm doing Govt Relations work still, for the Ohio Grocers Assn. I scaled back to part-time when Maisie was born, so I work 3 days a week. I love my schedule. I really do get the best of both worlds, being at home with Maisie for 4 days of the week and staying in the working world. It can be tough at times, but I really am blessed to have such a great flexible schedule. When the new AG came in, he fired a ton of people and not surprisingly, the Govt Relations people had to go. From what I hear from friends who still work there, I'm definitely better off.

If you get a chance, you should definitely drop Bonnie a line. I'm sure she would love to hear from you! Please tell Andy I said hello.

    Take care!
