Need Resterant Recs!

As usual, I need your ladies help on picking our a resterant for a guest.

My sister is coming on Sunday. We want to go somewhere exotic, spicy, yummy, and not to expensive. So far I have Aladdins and The Blue Nile (ethiopian) on my list. I would be looking for recs for Indian, Thai, Indonesia, Jamaican, etc etc... the more exotic the better.

TIA!!

  • Indian Oven is my favorite for Indian food -- excellent atmosphere, consistently excellent food.

We haven't tried it yet, but there's an Indonesian restaurant called Taste of Bali on Bethel that I've heard good things about.

  • The Indian Kitchen right across from the Blue Nile is my favorite Indian place.  The Thai Lagoon has the best Thai food around.
And unfortunately neither of these places has a guy that comes around and congratulates you on how much you ate like the Blue Nile.

  • I've heard the Pomegrante (sp?) in Gahanna is good. It's Mediterrainan food.
  • I like Lemon Grass in the short north too (thai)
  • I second Lemongrass... good stuff! Mmmm.  Also, we LOVE the Banana Bean Cafe in German Village (not super ethnic)... they call it "Floribean' food because they own another resaturant in the Keys somewhere and the recipes are all from down there... Super YUM!
