OB/GYN Recs

I'm sure this is on here a lot but I'm pretty frustrated. My current place "lost" my appt for this month (my annual) and can't get me in now until October. Not so much going to to work for me. I work in Dublin, live in Hilliard...can you ladies recommend something? FYI, I would like to start discussing preparing for children and I will be considered high risk when I do become pg (I have lupus)...so I am looking for someone who might specialize in high risk pgs. Thanks!

Re: OB/GYN Recs

  • I don't know who you are going to currently but I (and a lot of girls on here) go to Northwest OB/GYN.  I see Dr. Leeman and love her.  I needed to change my appointment for my annual last year at the last minute thanks to a lovely, very unwelcome monthly visitor.  I thought I was going to have to wait months but they called back a few days later and we able to put me in a cancelled appointment the next day.

  • I go to Stoneridge OBGYN in Dublin off of 161 and Sawmill. I see Dr. Cynthia Evans. Although she isn't accepting new patients there are other wonderful doctors in the practice who are. It's worth a shot calling and asking if there is someone who specializes in what you are looking for. GL!
  • I also see Dr. Evans.  The people at that office are really nice and they seem to be able to work with your schedule.
  • Here's another vote for Northwest OB/GYN located in Mill Run. I see Dr. Lindauer and she's one of my favorite people on the planet. Not sure about the high risk thing, though. Office number is 777-4801. Good luck!

  • I saw Dr. Donna Diaz. She has an office in Dublin (near Tuttle). I really liked her and they got me in pretty quickly. Phone is 459-1000. Her office also has a high risk OB (David Ruedrich). GL!
  • I go to Professionals for Women's Health, and they have an office in Dublin (downtown Dublin on High Street - across from the library). I've seen 3 of the doctors there (Dr. Brian Kelly, Dr. Kevin Hackett, and Dr. Dana Moulton), as well as some of the Nurse Practitioners, and I really like them all. I've been going there for almost 5 years now and have never had an issue.

  • I also work in Dublin and my ob is Dr. Kimberly Cull, she has an office in Powell on S. Liberty St (in the "village" of Powell), and an office in Delaware.  I'm also considered high risk (due to a 2nd trimester miscarriage).  The office staff is wonderful and extremely supportive throughout my ordeal.  I highly recommend her!

  • I see Dr. Teteris, who is with Dr. Diaz.  I have actually been seen by all the doctors at the office at one point, and since both of the pregnancies I had with them were high risk, I would recommend them for that.
  • I love Northwest OBGYN, I see Dr. Miller and adore her. I've also seen Dr. Lindauer and she's amazing too. However, at Stoneridge, Dr. Evans is good, but do not see Dr. Trout, his bedside manner is deplorable. He's the reason I changed practices and had a much better time through my second pregnancy and delivery.
  • Another vote for Northwest. I see Dr King there, and I really like her. She's fabulous. I switched last fall after going to Professionals for Women's Health. I had a multitude of problems with them.
  • I see Dr. Tracy Cook with Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology, but I've heard really great things about the other 3 doctors in the practice as well. I just preferred a woman. They have an office in Worthington and Dublin right by the new hospital. Here's the website:  http://www.specialistsinobgyn.yourmd.com/
  • I know I'm a little late on this, but I just wanted to give my rec since I got it from the lovely ladies on here as well. :)

I go to Dr. Trout at Stoneridge.  When I was looking last month, I called Northwest and they couldn't get me in until the end of April or early May because I wasn't pregnant.  So, I called Stoneridge and they were wonderful!!!  Everyone was so friendly and Dr. Troute really took the time to really answer all of the questions I had (I'd just finished reading TCOYF so I had a lot) and also to make sure I understood everything we had talked about.  If a gyno visit can be comfortable, this one definitely was and I'm excited because I won't have to change docs once DH and I start having little ones.  So... I highly reccomend Stoneridge! :)
  • I see Elizabeth Orwick (who works with Diaz, Teteris, and Ruedrich).  She works out of the Dublin, Olentangy River Rd., and Westerville locations. In addition to Orwick, I've seen Diaz, Teteris, and Jenkins...they're all nice. 459-1000.
