Marley and ME Movie!!!!

I am so excited about this movie!! We will all have to make sure we have tissues for all the laughing and crying!!!

Wilson, 39, and co-star Jennifer Aniston begin shooting March 10 on 20th Century Fox's "Marley & Me," the studio said. It tells the tale of a couple who adopt a dog to give parenthood a trial run, then find the mischievous pooch more than they bargained for.

After he was hospitalized last August, Wilson dropped out of this summer's comedy "Tropic Thunder," which already had been in production. He was replaced by Matthew McConaughey.

Due out Christmas Day, "Marley & Me" is directed by David Frankel and based on the book by John Grogan. Alan Arkin co-stars.

Another book that's being made into a movie is the "Shopaholic" series.  I can't wait!

I heard Julia Roberts signed on to be in the Friday Night Knitting Club movie that they are making which is also this month's Book Club book I think!

I hate Owen Wilson, so I am not sure how I feel about him being in the Marley and Me movie. Blah, I loved the book, but not sure I want to see the movie.

I saw that about the shopaholic-can not wait for that one either-oh and of course the Sex and the City movie-looks like there are going to be many "girl days" of patio lunches, drinks and movies!!

I'm so excited! I hope the movie does the book justice, I hate when they don't relate movies to a book at all.

I loved that book! I was reading it the week I got Connor, my yellow lab. I remember him chewing on the edges of the book as I read it and was worried he would be like Marley Overall, he is very good, although he does have a fondness for de-stuffing comforters. We're on the third one since October. Grr....Can't wait for the movie, though!

OUAmanda I know what you mean-I have a 12 year old and a 11 month old boxer and the baby seems to have taken a fondness toward de-stuffing comforters and dog pillows except hers of course!! At least she does not bother our comforter-just the older dogs one!
