LOL--I love daytime television.

Now I am watching The View.  Miserable--in a really hilarious way.  They are discussing the merrits of Amy Winehouse and wether or not she should have been allowed to win a Gramy.  They, except Woopi and Joy a little, are saying that she should not be rewarded for being a drug addict.  Rather, a "good" person like Beyonce (sp?) should have won.  Hmmm....Beyonce (IMO) is annoying and should not be rewarded for that.  Furthermore, should the Grammys and other awards not give awards to artists that may or may not have drug and/or other "defects"?  That would severly limit the nominee pool.

Holy moly!  Those woman are silly :)

Re: LOL--I love daytime television.

  • I agree with you but I think Amy Winehouse is just sick. I hate her music and she is a terrible role model.
  • Ahh, The View is my guilty pleasure every day...
I like the discussions for the most part.

  • Amy Winehouse had a drug problem long before she became famous. I love the holier than thou people who preach from the top of the mountain about what is "good." What about the Beatles tribute? It's not like they didn't partake in some choice substances in the past. You'd have to ask for a lot of award trophies back if you only handed them out to "good" people. Of course considering Sherri Sheppard isn't sure if the world is flat, what can I expect out of these idiots?
  • hmmmm looks like the option for the 12 oclock hour is news, westminster dog show, and Dirty Dancing. i dont want to miss the spaniels! i'll have to flip channels.
  • Confession: Chris watches the View if he is at home working on schoolwork. I put the TV on Good Morning America while I get ready for work and Chris doesn't change the channel for the most part. He told me that the other day and it cracked me up.  He thinks Sherri Shepard is a complete idiot. From the clips I've seen on "Best Week Ever", she does appear that way.

Chris also used to watch Tyra. HAHA!!!

  • I watch the View every morning.  I even rotate my "getting ready for work" schedule around it and pause the program whenever I have to leave for something.

    *hangs head in shame*
