Anyone ever heard of this company? I got a call from my cousin who is going to "sell" this and since she used to buy stuff from me when I sold The Body Shop stuff..I feel a little obligated to do something for her too but I've never tried any of these products or know anyone who has....Any thoughts??
Re: Melalueca?????
my grandmother uses thier laundry detergent. My youngest spilled red juice all over his clothes there, and it came right out...so atleast that product is good
i know nothing about the selling it end of it
I can tell you what it was like 6 years ago... It was not like Avon (I'm not familiar about the Body Shop program). A friend used it and got me to 'join'. I had to pay a fee ($15-$30 maybe?) which paid for my video tape and guide book ...both of which I never even looked at. Then I had to fill out an 'always' order list. I had to order at least $75 per month (I think it was that much) by a certain day and if I didn't make it, they sent me the list I'd filled out. Ok,...so that sounds great, but I was single then and how much 'stuff' can one person use? I did like their laundry det., but I didn't use near as much (it's all natural) and so a big bottle lasted forever. Plus I think compared to normal stuff, it's expensive. I sure didn't need toothpaste, soap, deod. etc every month. When I needed to stop, I had to beg and plead with them. They threatened to make me keep my 'contract' up until I suggested maybe I'd call my lawyer..(I don't have one!). I just could not afford to spend $75 a month on stuff I didn't need or could get much cheaper at the store!
However....it is all natural and they do have some good products! I wish it was like Avon where you could order what you want...when you want (as it was explained to me when I signed up). If so, I'd still be using it! they have GREAT candles! mmmmm
I hope this helps! Sorry the font changed midpost, but I can't get it back!
Beth
It is a Multi-level Marketing scheme. A pyramid scheme, of sorts. I shiver when I hear words like "up-lines", and there is currently a lawsuit within this company (melalueca), suing 'up-lines'.
It may have a bit better rep than Amway because of its "all natural"-ness. But Amway products have a lot of all natural stuff too. Buy stuff from her, but be wary of pitch and possible meeting she'll ask you to go to.
