Good news about my dad

My dad found out when I was pregnant with Ryan that he would need a kidney transplant. They told him he had to lose weight before he was put on the waiting list. Right after Ryan was born he had surgery to have the stint put in his arm for dialysis.  He lost weight and his health had been improving.  He has been on the list for awhile now.  In December, he went for a follow up visit and they were telling him he may have to go on dialysis soon.  He went today for anothe visit and they said things are going good and as of right now there is no need for the dialysis.  i am so glad!  My grandmother (my dad's mom) was on dialysis for years before she passed away in 1993.  Hopefully things continue this way!
