XP: back to square one...
DH and I were discussing our finances and I think we have come to a decision regarding daycare. We just don't think we can afford the center that we are currently at. So, does anyone have a suggestion for anyone in the Galloway/Hilliard/south Dublin area who does in-home care? I have looked at Craigslist and was wholly unsuccessful with calling the County Dept. of JFS. So, I figured getting a recommendation would be all that much better. It breaks my heart that I even have to go down this road but our finances just aren't working out now that we have a car payment again.

I have 2 neighbors who do, I'll see if they have any room in schedule. If they do, I'll post.
I really like in home providers vs. day care anyway due to the stimulation difference. You should not in anyway be broken hearted! Its a great opportunity.
We are in the same boat. I keep asking my DH how these families afford the prices of daycares. Now I don't feel so broke knowing that not everyone but us thinks it's a lot.
If I hear of anyone in your general area, I will let you know.
DH and I have friends that are expecting. She is a preschool teacher and he works with DH. His income is not enough, especially with a new baby on the way AND the really need a new/different car. For them to put their son in daycare @ the school she works @ would cost almost as much as she makes...literally her paychek would be $50/wk for 40 hrs. Terrible. She wants to stay home, but can't. I wish she would babysit at home. Anyway, they found someone (in home) to watch DS. I will ask her who they are. I imagine this person is in the dublin/hilliard area as they live in that area.
