106.7...have we discussed this new station?

If we have, sorry.  DH told me about it last week.  I've been listening off and on for a few days now.

I've heard songs on here I haven't heard it over 10 years, and I'm LOVING it!

It's alternative, but MUCH better than 105.7, 96.3, and 101.1.  I mostly listen to country but I still love my 90's alternative!  LOL!

This station is awesome!! I heard about it around a month ago---and I love the variety it plays. The girls and I listen to it at work all the time.

The best part is that they have nearly zero commercials and yapping by the DJ.

I've been listening to it a bunch too...ah, the memories it brings up. Makes me feel like I'm driving to school rather than to work in order to pay my mortgage and bills...I miss the simplicity of being a teenager sometimes

I'm still loyal to CD101, but whenever there is a hockey game or a song that I can't stand, I switch right away to this new station!

Hmmm I've heard that it's a Clear Channel station that's out to run CD101 out of business (they are independently owned). So... as much as like the music played on that station - I don't want to lose CD101, so I don't listen to it.

i love this new station! i hadn't heard that about the clear channel, but honestly i tried very hard but just never did like CD101. this station is much better, and a nice change from the blitz and 97.9.

I also heard that this channel is Clear Channel's attempt to run CD101 out of business. I don't think it will happen, CD101's fans are extremely loyal. I'm kinda lukewarm about 106.7, there's still commercials, and the songs aren't that wonderful, just a decent refuge from when CD101 plays hockey or "Island Riddims" on Sunday nights.
