Well - we made it problem free to 34w2d. I guess that's pretty good for twins.
Now I'm in the hospital for possible pre-eclampsia. They have me just for overnight observation right now and will decide based on bloodwork and other tests tomorrow if I can go home on bedrest or if I have to be admitted and have my c-section scheduled.
Right now it's kind of nice - being in the hospital without feeling sick or pain isn't too bad. It's kind of like a hotel. However, I'm on the high risk floor with all these other girls who are here on bedrest for either pre-e or cervix problems or whatever and I feel so bad for them b/c they've prob. been here for weeks and I can't imagine that. The nurse said I'm the farthest along person on the floor.
Anyway, say a little prayer for me and the babies that we can make it another week or two or if they happen to come this week that everything will be ok.
Re: I'm in the hospital
sending prayer and well wished to mommy and babies.
It sounds like you are right where you need to be which is the most important thing! Keep us updated (if you can!)
Oh! Good Luck! I hope everything works out fine.
And can I say I'm jealous you have a laptop and wireless at your hotel/hospital? Children's doesn't have that in Charlotte's room.
ditto JulieR!!!
Ethan and I will continue to pray for your little ones! We say our prayers every night before bed!
Hang out, relax, drink LOTS of water and get some rest. {{HUGS}}
I was there, on that floor, briefly. The nurses are wonderful. I hope you make it a little longer, and you've done a great job and made it so far already. Know they'll be OK now. I'm praying for you.
Oh my goodness... I'm sure it's so scary to be there, but it's great that you're being taken care of and your babies will be just fine. They're strong, they're already at a good weight. Hang in there...
You're at Riverside, right? If they need to be in the NICU, I can assure you everyone there is really wonderful. My experience was nothing but positive.
HUGS... and hope they stay put for a couple more weeks!!!
