Has anyone went to Marcella's?  I was thinking about going there for Valentine's Day.  (I am so not into really fancy places).  I thought the menu online looked limited.  What was your experience like?

It's great food....I think it's enough of a variety.  You'll be sharing anything you order and you'll be surprised at how quickly you fill up!

I'm a big fan of Marcella's. Definitely make a reservation though. Even though it's not "fancy" it's not unusal for them to have 1.5-2hr waits on normal saturday nights.

IMO I think the food is great...we usually order 2-3 things, share them, and have leftovers to take home

Thanks for the tips girls:)  What is appropiate attire at Marcellas?  Is jeans and a cute top ok or do I need to dress up more than that?

I think I've been in jeans, heels, and a cute top each time I've been there---and I never felt uncomfortable...so you'll be good

I went there for my brother's birthday.  I thought the prices were too high for the quality of food they served.  Neither my mom or I liked it, but my brother loved it.  I would never go back there again - due to high prices and I didn't really care for the food.

It's a very casual place to go....wear whatever you want   I've been to the one on High St. and at Polaris.  The people at polaris were dressed up a tad more.

We went to the one on High St.  Dress casual is perfectly fine to wear there. 

We thought the food was great!!  It comes in small portions to share, which I thought was fun.  The only complaint I had was that it was REALLY loud so it made it hard to talk.  Otherwise, we really liked it.
