40th wedding anniveersary ideas
So my boss just asked me what is an appropriate 40th wedding anniversary gift-it is for his neighbors they are in the mid 60 year old range-the party is tomorrow night!! Yeah nice notice-I have no idea-he said he wants to stay in the $25-50 dollar range-any ideas?!! TIA-Marie

The symbol for a 40th anniversary is the ruby, or modernly the garnet can be substituted. He could get a box of ruby red grapefruit from somewhere nice like Harry and David w/ a note in the card along the lines of "here's to your ruby anniversary". Or maybe a ruby colored leather photo album, or red (ruby in color
) wines.
