No more Don Pablo's : (

Don Pablo's has been bought out by a place called Baja Del Sol. Within the next year, Don Pablo's will no longer exist! I am so upset with this because I am addicted to their food; especially their chips and salsa.
DH and I found this out tonight when we went there for dinner. I am so sad : (

I wondered about that! I went to see my parents in Cincinnati last weekend and we wanted to go to Don Pablos- we drove by and it was completely dark on a Friday night. That location just opened a year ago so we were confused. Darn.

I cannot stand Don Pablo's..I think they have horrible service and food (and I've been to more than just central Ohio ones). I hope that Baja is better. On another note...I noticed when I got my Entertainment Book that Baja Del Sol was in there for upcoming locations.

I love Don Pablo's though....(sigh). Especially their margaritas. I hope I can have one before they close down. Hopefully they stay open til summer!

It's where DH and I had our first date. We're more El Vaq fans, but love their chocolate molten cake. Any idea when the transition will take place?

If you like DP's, try one of the local places and it is the same and probably cheaper.

I'm not a fan of DP. I much prefer Mi Mexico. :-)

we've gone to DPs a lot for happy hours. hopefully the new place will have a good one too! and yeah, how do we know the Baja isn't a chain?

I haven't eaten there since I got sick a few years ago.  I much prefer El Vaquero.

Yeah - the last time my DH and I ate there our waitress told us they were bought out by another resturant. She also told that some of their items would remain and the new resturant would add some new items. They will also have a chip and salsa bar with several different types of salsa to choose from.

If you are on the north end (Lewis Center) try Senor Antonios. It is GREAT. I prefer it to El Vaq. I was never really a DP fan.
