I emailed the contact person mentioned on the CMOT website about the honorary membership when you are expecting. I am waiting to hear back from her, but just wondered if I could still go to the March sale as an honorary member, or if it's better to just join now? Is there a lot of big items at the sale for good prices? We need a second crib, double stroller, etc. Also, do you attend the meetings? I am planning to attend in February. I also am calling today to register for the Marvelous Multiples class. Thanks so much for all the information!

You can go to the sale as an honorary member but I don't think you can sell at the sale unless you pay dues.
They do have big items but I think you pretty much have to get there right a way on the Friday to get them. I haven't been to a sale yet but plan to be there in March for sure.
I attend the meetings, but I prob. won't be at the Feb. one due to having my babies. They are really good but I think the most helpful thing about the club is the Yahoo message board. You can ask a question and you will get 30-40 answers and they are all very helpful. With your honorary membership they will send you an evite to join the yahoo group.
Another thing to consider is the Multiples Board on the Nest, it's generally helpful. Finally, I think I mentioned this before but can't remember. The book by Dr. Barbara Luke called "When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets or Quads" is almost essential.

I second everything Alicia said. I usualyl get there 30 min before the doors open and there is a big line. I got there 15 min early last time and grabbed a stroller for a girl I knew who was PG. You can shop the sale if you are honorary. The prices ROCK.
