Holy Crap!!!  There are talking about it on the radio, but so far, don't know why.  I think they just found his body about 1.5 ago.  So sad!!!

DH just found that on CNN.  OMG, how awful.  I feel so bad for his little daughter.

Doubtful. It'll be a tribute, like The Crow movie was to Jason Lee after he died while filming it. It'll be his "legacy movie".

I will never understand why celebrity deaths affect people (including myself) so much... I obviously did not know him, hardly knew anything about him, but that makes me so sad. I liked his goofy movies like a Knights Tale and Ten Things I Hate About You. so sad, so stupid.

IF he had a drug problem and/or was battling depression, he seemed to have covered it well...or at least the media never reported on it.  I am in shock that he died before Amy Winehouse or Britney Spears.

I read that on Yahoo News.  I can't believe that it happened.  He was only 28 and had so much going for him.  I read something about sleeping pills but they weren't for sure about how he died.  Very sad...

He mentioned in an interview back in November that he was having trouble sleeping. Something about one of his caracters being very dark and it kept him up at night.
He was a very talented actor.

It was his role as the Joker in the new Batman movie that was causing him to not sleep.  Apparently, he was only sleeping 2 hours a night and was having to take sleeping pills.

They are doing an autopsy tomorrow, but it will most likely be weeks before it's finally known why he died. Kinda seems like it's leaning toward accidental overdose...

I'm late getting in on this. But, this breaks my heart. He always seemed like such a down to earth, good person, who was never wrapped up the Hollywood "lifestyle."  I loved his roles in the Patriot and A Knight's Tale.

I hope this turns out to be an accidental overdose or natural causes, if only for the sake of his little girl growing up without him and wondering what happened.

So so sad.
