Hi! I saw your response to the Skybus post and wanted to tell you that DH and I did the exact same thing you guys are doing not too long ago (flew into LA and drove up the PCH to SF). Have you ever done it before? It's absolutely beautiful for probably an hour or so, but beware if you get car/motion sick easily because it's pretty much 25mph and curvy the whole way! We got tired of it after a couple hours and ended up taking 101 the rest of the way. I love CA though and I'm so jealous you get to do that next month! Have a fabulous time!

We did the trip the opposite way last summer! If you like wine, definitely head into Paso Robles. It's such a gorgeous town with great wineries. Santa Ynez is the area from the movie "Sideways", so we found that it was overwhelming there with all the people going just for that reason.
