Recommend a restaurant
My mom's birthday is coming up soon. I want to take her to a nice restaurant that she would enjoy but not normally go to. I am looking for a casual place that has really good food. Can you recommend one?
Some of her favorites are Smokey Bones and Max and Ermas. She likes Bob Evans and Cracker Barrell too. We are trying to avoid the normal ones that she likes though.

I second Cap City Diner (there's one on Olentangy). It's casual, excellent food and good atmosphere...and not insanely expensive even though it's a Cameron Mitchell restaurant.
We also really enjoy Champp's. It's causal, fun atmosphere, huge menu, not really expensive and good food. Both of these places have call-ahead seating too, fyi.
