need your vaca suggestions

Help! suggest your fav vacation spots or islands? we went to st. lucia for our hm and thought maybe carribean cruise or st martin but don't know yet. i haven't looked at anything yet. any suggestions?

My fav. place is the island of Kauai in Hawaii.  We went there for our honeymoon.  I've also been to Maui.  If you want any info on where to stay etc, just let me know. 

I also went to a destination wedding in Jamaica and would not recommend it as a vaca spot.

We LOVED Cabo San Lucas!!! I can't wait to go back!

We went to Negril, Jamaica for our HM. We had a great time, but I would suggest staying in Montego Bay or Ochos Rios, there is more going on.

We really want to take a cruise to San Juan, it just seems like such a neat time capsule.

If you are wanting an island vacay, I would suggest St. Thomas or St.John. I used to live on St.T and it's more commercial than St.J, but St.J is absolutely beautiful and imo, has prettier beaches. If you haven't been to many of the islands, a caribbean cruise would be great so you can see more. Just fyi, I'd avoid the Bahamas. Nassau at least is yucky.

My friend Kristin, who is a Phoenix Nestie, completely raves about Puerto Rico and Vieques (an island off of Puerto Rico). Hearing her and  her husband talk about it make me really want to go to both of those places and I'm not a complete beach trip kinda gal!

We also HM'ed in St. Lucia. 

I highly reccomend the Virgin Islands, specifically St. John!  Definitely one of the most amazing places I have been!

We loved Aruba, if you want great beaches and lots to do, it's a beautiful place.  We went snorkling, parasailing, took an off-road Jeep tour, booze cruise, and of course spent many hours by the pool with the world's best pina coladas.

If you aren't set on the beach, I recommend a trip to Munich, Bavaria, Vienna, and Salzburg (think Sound of Music). We did that trip last Advent season and it was magical. It would be beautiful in the summer.  Flights to Munich are usually pretty reasonable.

We also HM'd in St. Lucia, but have to 2nd the pp's for the Virgin Islands!  We stopped there on a cruise a few years ago, specifically Tortola, and have been dreaming ever since of going back!

thanks guys. i will have to check into st john and aruba. still thinking about the cruise to some islands. i didn't want to do this before since i didn't think there would be enough time at each but was sorta bored in st lucia for a week. we probably won't do mexico as we were in cancun a few years back and went to europe (italy) last summer. hubby wants beach vaca this year. thanks for suggestions.
