I emailed this to my friends in MD, but I thought you ladies could use a chuckle on such a dreary day. (Roo = Dumb@ss husband)

8:00- wake to the sound of a chirping smoke alarm. Cause: dead battery. I ignore it and go work out.
9:40- come home, Roo is just now getting in the shower, an hour late. Grrrrrreat. He starts bltching to me about the chirping smoke alarm. I tell him the only ladder we have to reach it is in the garage and I can't move it by myself.
10:00- Roo brings ladder in, fiddles with smoke alarm for 10 seconds and throwa a fit cause the new battery won't go in. He puts the HUGE ladder back in the garage.
10:01- I ask if he could have been trying to install new battery backwards. Roo proceeds to turn purple.
So, the smoke alarm still chirps every 30 seconds, and luckily, I have errands to run today so I will be gone for a few hours at a time.
On his way out the door, he realizes that the license plates on his car expired, so he steals the truck, and leaves the tag renewal mess for me to take care of.
For some reason, I still love him even though I don't like hime right now, not ONE measly bit!
